Large Bitter-cress is a native, perennial herb growing up to 60cm.
It has a horizontal creeping stock from which stolons and stems grow.
Flowers are up to 13mm across, with 4 white petals and 5 lilac-purple anthers.
Leaves are pale green and pinnate. There is no basal rosette.
It spreads to form patches when the creeping stems and stolons root at the nodes.
