On this day 9 January 2021

Robin

Have been going to the park most days over the past week, due to lockdown there is not many places to go. The park does get very busy so don't stay long and it has been far to cold to be stood about.

All the people and dogs running around makes it hard to watch the birds and I wonder if this is effecting the small birds. As food is scares they like to feed on the ground and strip the seeds on the grasses, but the dogs and people are distrusting them.

There is the range of park birds but I think in less numbers.

Yesterday it snowed all day and froze during the night, so in the sun this morning everything looked lovely.

There is one benefit to all the people coming to the park is they bring bread and seed for the swans on the pond, the Robins being a smart bird knows were to get fed. Wherever you stand a Robin will not be to far away.

Today I found the flock of Redwings, they were quite hard to spot amongst the leaves on the ground. There was a flock of about 30.
