Slug Ambigolimax valentianus or Ambigolimax nyctelius
Balkan Threeband Slug - Ambigolimax nyctelius (Nature Spot)
May reach 40 to 60 mm long extended. Grey to pink-brown, fairly translucent skin; lyre-shaped banding on mantle; pair of longitudinal dark lines (sometimes breaking up into spots) on dorsum and mantle on either side of a mid-line (sometimes apparent); small keel; pale edge of pneumostome; clear mucus; pale sole.
Greenhouse Slug - Ambigolimax valentianus (Nature Spot)
The Greenhouse Slug Ambigolimax valentianus is usually paler with a more watery appearance and not as well marked and usually has just two bands on the mantle. Confidently separating these two species requires dissection.
