Crocus is a genus of flowering plants in the iris family comprising 90 species of perennials growing from corms. Many are cultivated for their flowers appearing in autumn, winter, or spring. The spice saffron is obtained from the stigmas of Crocus sativus, an autumn-blooming species.
Blackbird, Blue tit, Green Finch, Treecreeper, Wood pigeon, Great tit, Coal tit,Long tailed-tit, and House sparrow were all spotted within the first five minuets of entering the first park (Nunroyed).
I could hear a bird tapping away and it was two Nuthatches retrieving a snail tucked away in a branch
It will not be long before the spring flowers start popping up all over, but I have to had it to the Daisy as I think they have flowered on the park all winter.
