Common Chrysalis Snail (Lauria cylindracea)

There are several small snail that look very similar. The thickened white lip and the single tooth within the mouth must be seen to confirm its identity. Juveniles lack the thickened lip and can't be identified securely.

Lauria cylindracea, common name "the common chrysalis snail", is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Lauriidae.
